Jewelry Making Idea
Q.I had the bright idea of making my own rosary. I went to the bead store and proceeded to pick out all of the perfect beads (I've never made jewelry before). Then I asked the woman behind the counter which string I should use (duh!). She showed me the silver plated wire (22 guage) and suggested I learn how to do wire wrapping. She said that it was very easy. I bought all of the supplies, but have yet to find any instructions on how to do this. Can any of you help?
A.I don't know but when I think of rosary, wire wrapping just doesn't pop into my head. However, if you've got your heart set on wire wrapping it isn't all that hard to do... tho it can be if you really get into it. There are several books on the subject and Lark Books sells a whole kit (they have a website you'll find easily if you search) but they also sell the book alone.. I forget the exact name but you'll find it on their site...it's the one I bought (from them) and I use it quite a bit. If it were me I'd use something softer for rosary....
